Miss J. | Boudoir, Göteborg
Boudoir / Morgongåva , November 2, 2017
I recently had the occasion to cooperate with Lilith Etch. She is a great professional and a true pleasure to work with. Since she is a professional model, she is used to work her body and face. I, on the other hand, am used to give instructions. Thankfully, it didn’t take us very long to find the right balance and in the end we cooperated really well.
When one says ‘boudoir’, many people think of elaborate lacy underwear, high heels and a lot of make up. This time, I really wanted to challenge myself. I had no idea about the clothes we were going to use, or the space that we were going to photograph in. On top of that, we have also decided to use minimal make up. We went for simplicity and the natural, relaxed feeling. The space was tiny, but I tried to make the best out of it.
I can’t tell you how happy I am with these photos. To feel how the situation forced me to push my limits and think differently was priceless. This session has definitely changed the way I look at boudoir and how I want to photograph it in the future.
